Delegation of CUC Visited HEUET
On November 2
nd, a 3 people delegation led by Mr. Alan, who is the vice president of Concordia University Chicago, visited our university. Ji Lianggang, president and vice secretary of party committee of Hebei University of Economics and Business, Chen Liang, standing committee member of Hebei University of Economics and Business received the delegation in the No.2 meeting room. The directors of International Exchange Centre, International Education College, Dean’s Office, Postgraduate College, College of Business Administration and Accounting College attended, as well as other related persons.
Ji Lianggang made a welcome speech, and affirmed the positive function of the preliminary achievement on the cooperative education. Both two parties exchanged views on the items for instance, their cooperative education, cultivation at young teachers and leaders’ exchange visiting. The two parties signed the Cooperative Education Agreement between Hebei University of Economics & Business of China and Concordia University Chicago of U.S.A. and Conference Summary between Hebei University of Economics & Business of China and Concordia University Chicago of U.S.A. Before the conference began, Chen with the delegation visited campus, ERP laboratory and library.
On the afternoon, Mr. Alan made a lecture with the topic of High Education of America and Education Philosophy of CUC. The lecture was presided by Shang Liwei, who is the director of International Exchange Centre, and more than 170 teachers and students attended.
This visiting of Concordia University Chicago delegation laid a solid foundation for the following deep cooperation between the two universities.
