Chinese Song Highlighted Union Concert in Zambia
June 29, the Union Concert consisted of 8 trustschools annually was held grandly in Kitwe of Zambia. As one of the tracks participating by Luanshya Trust school, Waving Flag of Chinese version caused a sensation in all those present, and gained the agreed good reputation from all of the participated schools.
The concert was held in MCM Nkana School in Copperbelt Province by the 8 shools including Kalulushi Trust School, LCM Luanshya Trust School, MCM Mufulira, MCM Nkana School, Kabwe Trust School, KCM Konkola Trust School, Ndola Trust School, KCM Nchanga Trust School. The track Luanshya Trust School selected was Chinese Waving Flag, which was selected and taught by teacher Niu Xiquan, in order to celebrate the champion of Zamia football team in Africa Cup and the successful development of new project of Zhong Se Luanshya company. Many faculty and students were fond of it and passed it down around school. During the time of Union Concert this year, as one of the important chorus tracks, it was recommended by Luanshya Trust School. Under the help of teachers and volunteers, chorus students came to Kitwe and performed it, opening arms and waving the national flags of China and Zambia. The encouragement track which performed with tacit cooperation and passionate performance was praised by all those present.
Luanshya Trust School is the first school which introduced Chinese class in Luanshya ,Copperbelt Province by Confucius Institute at Zambia University, as well as the first school which accept the Chinese language teacher volunteers. Now the activity for spreading Chinese language teaching and culture has been carried out.
